    What days would I work?

To meet the needs of our DJ customers we primarily work on Friday on Saturday nights.

    Who started DJ Connection?

Clay Clark started DJ Connection from his college dorm room at Oral Roberts University without the permission of the Dean of Men.

Do I have to provide my own equipment?

At DJ Connection we supply 100% of the gear you will need to successfully entertain the masses, however you must supply your own DJ gear.

If I have a tattoo on my neck, a piercing through my tongue, a piercing through my I nipple, a bad attitude, an all black wardrobe, a preference to be called "Thor,"an addiction to smoking pot, a procrastination complex, a cell phone that just got disconnected again, a little education, a long voice-mail that features 3 rap songs before I leave a message, a thick gangster accent, and a bad haircut can I still work as a DJ Connection DJ?

No, although it is usually entertaining to watch these people apply.

Do I need any DJ experience to join the DJ Connection family?

No. At DJ Connection, we believe that every other DJ and DJ company DJs the wrong way, and thus we would actually prefer that you do not have any DJ experience so that we do not have to break you of any habits that you might have formed while working for the dark side.

    Is DJing fun?

Yes. If DJing was not fun, the founder of DJ Connection would be an "over-delivering" homeless person. To be a good DJ, you have to be passionate about having a good time and great customer service, and when you are passionate about those to things. Everyday is a holiday, and you will have fun!

What is the reason for the most forms of government?

To quote Thomas Jefferson, "Government is a necessary evil." Initially all government programs are designed to solve a problem that individuals feel as a majority that they cannot solve without the help of a large force. However once a government program is formed get ready to become a believer in eternal life, because the program will never die. Government for the most part exists to perpetuate itself. With each expansion of government the various bureaucracies lose more and more ability to act quickly, as they grow in complexity and their "bloated-ness." Let's take the Department of Motor Vehicles for instance. Let's suppose that you need your liscense today, and you also need some eggs today. When you go to get your liscense at 6:15 pm you find out that they are "closed" and will be open from 10:00 - 5:00 pm everyday or something to that effect. As you leave the DMV upset you realize that you are hungry for some eggs, and thus without any prompting you decide to go to Walmart. When you arrive at Walmart much to your amazement they are open, and they have eggs. Amazing! It appear as though in their quest to make a buck the flames of competition have caused them to offer extended hours. And so you go home down some eggs, and go to sleep.

The next morning which is a Saturday, you wake up nice and early and head into town to get that liscense from the DMV again. This time you arrive at 7:00 am to get a head start on your day. And to your amazement when you get there you discover that they are again not open, but they would like for you to come back at 10:00 am. You leave and then return at 10:00 am.

When you return at 10:00 you discover a line. A biblically long line, and then you realize that this is going to take a while. As you wait inside in the cramped old skool' looking office from the 70s you realize that not only does they DMV offer inconvenient hours of operation, but they now offer terrible decor, and no ambiance. As you wait in line you look around and you see the various individuals working at the DMV working in a manner that would make you think that they did not want to be there. And then it occurs to you, they don't want to be there. And in fact to be fair, you wouldn't want to be there any longer either if you had to work in a job environment that offers little opportunity for financial advancement and essentially no upward mobility.

Finally, it is your turn to get that magical liscense. After the clerk greets you she says, "Hey, as far as payment goes, we will need $20.00." You hand the clerk your AMEX card, and then she says it, "Oh I am sorry we don't accept that form of payment." Visibly upset at this point, you ask what forms of payment they do take. The clerk says while looking at the clock, "We do take check, cash or Discover Card." You  are excited to hear that they are now taking cash, and then you say, "Hey, let's put in on the Discover." And then the unhappy clerk smiles slowly before saying, "That's great, and to use that card there will be a small $2.00 fee to use that card."

What is the purpose of DJ Connection?

DJ Connection was established to become the Mothership on which DJ Connection employees can travel in route to their goals and dreams. DJ Connection was created to provide the best quality DJ service at the best quality price. We DJ Connection was created because owner Clay Clark enjoyed the heck out of DJing. DJ Connection was established to make people laugh. DJ Connection was formed to entertain the masses. DJ Connection was birthed out of the pure euphoric joy that DJ Clay experienced when he began DJing at the age of 16. DJ Connection was invented to create fun jobs. DJ Connection was put together to make your event special. At DJ Connection we began because we believe that by consistently over-delivering our services with excellence in time we will create an entertainment juggernaut that can be spoken about in the same breathe as Southwest Airlines and QuikTrip. At DJ Connection our band of merry men are dedicated to exceeding your customer's expectations by over-delivering in all that we do.

What Are DJ Connections Non-Goals As Company?

Well first off, I am glad you asked. DJ Connection does not have the goal of become a slow moving bureaucracy. DJ Connection does not have the goal of shelling out ridicilous somes of money to workman's comp insurance companies. DJ Connection does not have the goal of providing tax revenue that can be used as entitlements to help those that "choose" not to work. DJ Connection does not have the goal of becoming homogenized and cold like many large American Companies. DJ Connection does not have the goal to treat customers like the local D.M.V.. DJ Connection does not have the goal or producing boring events. DJ Connection does not have the goal of over-looking those that over-deliver on a daily basis. DJ Connection was not created for to help the United Nations in anyway.
